Republicans Hate Deficits and The National Debt

Not So Fast

The hypocrisy that characterizes conservatives reached new heights as the Senate passed a budget resolution that raises the national debt by $1.5 trillion and the House released a tax plan that ratifies that.  Yes, that's trillion with a T. Was this deficit spending to provide health care/ Was it spending to increase the military? Was it spending to clean up the environment. No it is tax cuts for the wealthy.

The opposition was vocal from Republicans.

The budget’s a sham,” Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) said at a recent Koch-backed group’s gathering of wealthy donors in New York. “It has nothing to do with reality. ... It’s a tool to get to reconciliation.”
Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) called the budget a “hoax” on Thursday.

Wow, profiles in courage! Oh wait, they voted for it.
